A lovely place with beautiful views of the Gorce and Pieniny mountains<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We live on the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, but we occasionally travel to Poland. During our stays, we like to revisit places we visited as children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A long time ago, my family and I used to spend our summers at the \u0141\u0118G campsite<\/strong> near the Czorsztyn Reservoir on the Bia\u0142ka River. We would make bonfires, admire nature, hike in the mountains, and eat real, freshly smoked oscypek - polish cheese. Every<\/em> morning, a local old lady would knock on the walls of our caravan with fresh milk and a bucket of berries or mushrooms...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2020, after many years we visited the area. I was curious to see what had changed. I had read a bit about it on the internet, but reading and seeing for yourself are two very different things. Surprisingly and happily, not much had changed. _<\/em> The name, the reception building, the surroundings - it was still the same semi-wild place where you could light a campfire on the riverbank. It was noisy on weekends in the summer, but you could still find your own little corner and feel comfy & safe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bia\u0142ka River is one of my favorites in Poland. I love the white, rounded stones, the swift current, and the purity of the water. I also love the sound of the river, especially when I'm in the bed of my camper van.\n

\n It's funny how history repeats itself. I got the travel bug from my parents, and now I'm passing it on to my son. And of course, the dog benefits too!

PS <\/strong>The location of the campsite is very attractive. It's located at the foot of the Pieniny Spiskie Mountains (the highest peak is \u017bar, 879 meters above sea level). There are three National Parks in the area: Pieniny, Gorce, and Tatra. Click Here<\/strong><\/a>
