Sangria, The Secret to a Spanish Fiesta

A Crisp Fusion of Fruits and Wine

Despite its bloody name, drinking it is completely safe! The name highlights the deep red color of the drink originating from the Valencia region, whose original recipe was made simply of water and wine – and it was consumed in this form during, for instance, the harvest season...

As the popularity of Sangria spread, fruits, fruit juices, ice, and other spirits were added to the wine and water mix to enhance its flavor.

Best Sangria Recipe:

  • a bottle of young red wine
  • 2 peaches
  • 1 apple
  • 1/2 liter of orange juice
  • juice of 1 lime
  • one cinnamon stick
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • water of your choice
